HOW THIS ALL BEGAN

In 1989, my brother and a friend started "Main Street Gym in Medford. They needed a sign, so the three of us were sitting at a local bar (Great Scott’s) and decided to draw straws to see who would do the sign. I was the one! Not knowing a thing about how to paint a sign or wanting to, I gave it a try.

Once the sign was made and hung, one of the gym members asked me to make him a sign for his strawberry farm. Not knowing at that time that it was the start of where we are today.

After a few tries and struggles, I decided to ask local sign painter Bob White for some advice on painting signs. Bob was a master at what he did, and I have to give him a lot of credit for getting me to where I am today. He would let me come to his shop at night and help letter race cars and trucks.

One night in 1988, I asked Bob if I should start a business doing this, but I did not want to compete with him. He opened a sign magazine, showed me a picture of a plotter, and told me I should buy one of them.

In 1989, I purchased a vinyl plotter and worked out of my parent's machine shed while I continued to work full-time. In the early spring of 1995, I broke ground on my first sign shop. In 1997, I purchased my first large-format color printer. This machine was very costly and not very dependable to operate. In 1998, I purchased a 30" solvent printer. This machine was great and opened many new doors of opportunity for my business. In 1999, I bought a 54" printer, which allowed me to do much larger jobs.

In 2004, I sold my building and moved my business to my home. That same year, I bought my first flatbed printer, which cost more than my first sign shop. In 2010, my wife Beth came on board, and we started to expand our business into different areas, including apparel.

In 2019, we purchased the T&C water property. The next year, we grew one more time and purchased a cutter, which allowed us to cut various materials.

In 2022, our son Ty joined our company and started doing laser engraving. In 1.5 years, this side of our business has grown substantially.

Every step of this journey has been amazing. We are doing what we love to do.

And this is exactly why we are here today - thanks to all of our customers, past and present!
